Install the back-plate

Peel of the protective paper and mate the back-plate to the back of the

motherboard, ensuring that all 4 standoffs are completely engaged in the

CPU mounting holes.

Prepare the CPU

Clean the CPU with a degreaser (preferably formulated for electronics)

then apply the supplied grease to the center of the CPU.

Fasten the block to the motherboard

For optimal performance, it is critical to orient the water-block properly

relative to the socket. As shown above, either one of the waterblock

The coolant inlet is identified by a detachable plate (XT version only).

It is factory installed in its optimum position, i.e. at the center of the

block, but it can also be rotated 180° to allow the installation of large

compression fittings (G ¼ standard thread). Some thermal and
